When writing this song I was transported to that moment in time when I made the choice to never settle again for a relationship unworthy of my time and life force. I knew I needed to find a love greater than what I was experiencing and I was beginning to see that it started with self-love. That was the most amazing gift. It was when I decided that I had a standard and that I was uncompromising on what was my truth, that I saw how beautiful and worthy of love I truly was.
